Here are a selection of photos pre fix and paint.
Apart from all the nasty bits and the hole in the back from where the tow bar was fitted and the sunroof which leaked all the paintwork all over the car had bubbling underneath it.
After the paint was stripped off lots of other things were discovered and fixed so I am very happy I saved and had it sorted out :)

This is the best I can afford to do.
I love the guys at Westgate Classics in Alderidge, I think they did a really good job and I recommend them to anyone :)
Ricky Turner has kindly offered to fit the Webasto and then Andy and I can see about the interior when everything is totally water tight.

The engine plan changed...... I bought an early Passat 1.8 20vt which will be cleaned up and fitted as is for the time being. I hope their to be a next engine incarnation once it is all done .... The wheels are in motion ;) Mike Truluck has said he will help........

I am so crossing my fingers that offer will come to fruition :)

Hi all. Project Update.

I have moved the car to Peterborough where Martin at Cluttons Automotive is going to do the build for me. (He's a very nice guy and recommend him to all for VW builds and servicing etc.)
I think Peterborough is the best place for it and Mike Truluck is overseeing the build.
Important news. I have changed on the engine choice again. Mike Truluck has offered me a G60 engine which has been in one of his lockups since he took it out of a low milage Corrardo in 1996. He says it was just at the time He and Jabba Sport were starting to use 1.8 20vt so it remained in his lockup since then as He moved onto 4wd G60 powered 1.8 20vt's etc.

Webasto is in, Blue Storm interior is fitted and Uprated breaks. In addition to the all new window and door rubbers all round from Andy and Randy at Vintage Rubber. I have the soundproofing etc as well.

Now onto the fun bits.

Also I am now a fully paid up member of the Scirocco Register :) Hi Everyone. I hope I will make it to next years National Meet.
