A twist on debadging the rear VW logo.
A twist on debadging the rear VW logo.
Re: A twist on debadging the rear VW logo.
Ah now, there may be more interest in getting a few of those made.
How or where did you get them made?
Not of any use to my Mk2, since Storms had badgeless tailgates, instead sporting stickers below the rear light clusters. I recently replaced the Volkswagen logo, but was thinking of how cool it may have been to get the Karmann-wording there instead, but I couldn´t mimic the font.

That looks sweet dude.
Is it a badge, or a sticker ontop of the original VW badge?

Your wish is my command.
I made the rear badge at work. It is made out of plastic. This one is just a prototype.

Great work Doug.
Seen that piccie of Cincy on the German forum, but not had time to see all the picture yet; need to find what website they are stored on first
The problem with replacing the VW wording on the rear of my Storm is that is is designed in a very specific font, which I would like to mimic/keep for any potential Karmann logo.
Kindly used from Dr. Dub's excellent website
