Hi all . I was wondering if anyone has tried the electric superchagers you can get on ebay. On a mk2 carbed 1.8 or anything else.

there's a fair amount of you tube videos on these. they dont work unless you pay a good few grand for a proper one, but then you'd need to upgrade your alternator and battery. cheaper to do an engine swap if you want the power.

Yeah I’ve had a look and to be honest doesn’t sound like a safe idea unless you upgrade everything and as Tom said it doesn’t seem worth it
