Steering column surround

Post by Jack92 » Sat Mar 03, 2018 3:55 pm

Afternoon guys,

Now this is me being lazy and not going to have a look but does anybody know if you can replace the steering column surround easily?

I have a new one from joost but can’t recall if it’s a dials out or something similar to replace it?

Thanks

The bottom half is easily unscrewed and unclipped. The top half will come off if it is removed carefully, it is tight against the column and dash. Easier done with the steering wheel off.

Well it’s safe to say it’s a pain!

Required a lot of nice words, steering wheel off, stalk ring off, a little modification... but yeah it’s on now haha

Glad it's sorted :)

The weather doesn't help with motivation and patience, thankfully it's warmed up a bit in the midlands.
