Finishing up the struts and brakes, and some Questions!
Finishing up the struts and brakes, and some Questions!
1985 German Market Scirocco GT(?) Missing the rear logo, just rubber plugs in the holes?
Here is the console. The car was broken into somewhere when going around the world. Missing a gauge and radio. Any ideas on one or both?
Instrument panel. Still haven't figured it out!

Not sure if the german gts came with a gauge? Might just be a blank, if not it'll most likely be the VDO voltmeter. The radio fitted to yours looks like an aftermarket (Face off) radio. Originally it would probably have been a blaupunkt unit.

! I would say it was a VDO Voltmeter as it looks like the frame was broken when it was ripped out. Yes, that was an aftermarket radio my son put in just for some tunes while driving around. I will see if I can find replacements for both.
Much appreciated!

Something like this would be a good fit!

I think mine had the London SQM 37 in originally but upgraded it.

Bookmarked. I was over cleaning the son's shop out some more today and found another radio. It is German made, with cassette player. Will have to pull it out to get the name.
