Japanese Mk1 brochure, second attempt.

Post by Dr. Dub »

Here is a link to scans of a Japanese Mk1 brochure that I bought from eBay.

For whatever reason, the links to individual pages stopped working when I originally posted them. So this is a gallery view, but the large images can still be viewed.

Wonder why it shows a LHD model for Japan?

I may have remembered this wrong, but wasn't there a segment on Fifth Gear some years ago about imported cars in Japan being LHD? It's something to do with it being a status symbol. LHD a way of being different and saying "Look at me, I have an imported car".

I thought it was just because all of VW's press photos were of LHD cars.
