MKI raintray intrest ?

Post by Blueshark »

Would there be any intrest for the raintrys for the MKI ?.

Having made and sold over 130 for the MKII I might be having them made for the MKI as well.

Just asking if there is enough intrest for them.

Let me know.

Joost

From about 50 pieces it is good to to.

Problem is the making of a template, that was the trouble with the MK II one.

Buying bulk is ok with me but can hardly do anything with the price, only shipping more than one at a time is cheaper.

The MKI raintray template has been made and the first tryouts are expected within a week or two-three.

As soon I have the first one I will put up the pics and of course what the costs will be and then they can be ordered.

First try out raintray has been produced.

It seems that there are 2 different types but this one can been used instead of both.

Picture of the raintray.

Price is set at €.40,00 a piece without P+P.

Production has started and they are expected in 3-4 weeks.

As soon I have them they will be on sale here.

Looks good Joost,

Is this version the "short" non aircon car item as the Airconditioned cars come with a longer moulding.

D-bot on VW Vortex has produced the aircon version several years back, not sure if there has been any more produced tho.

I would be keen to buy at least 2 of the "short" units ( which is what yours appear to be )

Cheers.
Grant

Realy?, nobody needs one here?. :-o

Have one customer from here and he is from Australia and even he wants 2 pieces.

Have had a bunch made but probably a mistake.

Too bad, is my loss. :-(

Joost,

Raintrays arrived magnificently packaged, very impressed with the quality of your reproduction parts. I will likely get 3 more sometime around Christmas.
I dont think mario will be able to bring them out for me as we discussed, more likely mail them as per the first lot.
