A question for the mk1 anoraks:
were any production models (any international market) of the mk1 sold with a wheel of larger diameter than 13"? I think the Junior Cup cars came with 15" ATS Cups, but I'm not sure that they will count for my purposes.
Any mk1 production models with >13" wheels?

The old brochures on Drivers Found website do not show anything smaller than 13".

I was after greater than 13"...
I'm not really sure whether there's an appropriate series yet. Of the regs I've looked at, a lot require you to keep standard wheel diameter from production, hence 13" on a Mk1... unless I can convince them that 15" on the Junior Cup car is acceptable.

Hello!
Probably of little point ( because I cannot find the literature) but I think there was a dealer option of 14" steelies...
Absolutely positive I read this somewhere and I will have another look through the VAG literature I have, I read it somewhere !!!
Happy to be corrected, do not think I have my wires crossed though...
Standard OEM supplied alloys were all 13" though, with just the width differing throughout the range.
