Yet another Mk1 press advert I haven't seen before

Post by Dr. Dub »

Certainly not seen this advert before. You won't believe where I found it

I was searching ebay for Scirocco ads, but had no luck. So I searched Scirocco publicity and this came up.

James Last? Really? Just what kind of driver were VW hoping would buy Sciroccos back in 1978? I can't imagine any Scirocco driver in history would have listened to that kind of music. Still, the programme did help out with my collection of ads. I didn't buy the item, I simply copied the image from the ebay page and cleaned it up. I'm guessing the colour is Colibri green. Don't waste your time looking up the registration on the DVLA site as it comes back as an orange Chrysler.

Currently without a car (long story)
Previous rides. 2x 89 Scirocco GTs & 84 Storm
