My rocco mojo has returned

Post by moser »

Returning to forum after a hiatus of several years. 1 smart idea after another by a younger, stupider version of me, snowballed over time to the point where i seriously fell out of love with the car. Recently however the love has started to come back, to the point where I'm determined to bring her back from the brink, this time doing things properly.

eventually I want to get it looking close to how it did a few years ago. This is how it was Image

Not got a current one but this is from last time it was on the road about 2 years ago Image

I’ll start a build thread to give a bit more of the history and put up a few pics. While I’m righting some wrongs I plan to fit a few amps and speakersthat have cluttering the garage for years!

Yeah outside is pretty straight. Before I wrapped it I went round and filled all the little dents and rubbed back the lawyer peel thinking that it was a good idea. Unfortunately doing that ment the vinyl pulled the thinner bits of paint off and there’s a lot of glue residue all over.

The wrap was probably the thing I regretted most about the car but sometimes you just have to scratch an itch!

Thanks eefy. I have to say my love had come back in quite a big way. Spent the last 3 weekends in all weathers working on it. I'll update my build thread at some point.
