That's good to know standard will fit

Was wondering if I was going to have to look for longer ones.

Standard VW wheel bots from a car that left the factory with alloys are fine but not standard steel wheel bolts, they are slightly shorter!

It's a 91 scala so guessing it would have had snowflakes originally??

If I quote the reg when getting the new ones they Should be suitable for alloys, but I'll to ask for bolts for alloys just to make sure I get the right ones. Especially seeing as it'll be going up for sale when I get this fixed.

I can't think of much worse than selling a car to someone then a wheel flying off because of wrong wheel bolts.

Yes it should have had the slightly longer bolts as a Scala came with Avus alloys (AKA Snowflakes) as standard.

Saw these

http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/161145957275?nav=SEARCH&sbk=1

Seem reasonable but going to my local vw dealer in the morning as its only 2 min down the road from me see what they can do

I can go armed with the part number too

Thanks a million

Thanks for all the help folks.

Got new front hubs on the way. Rears came off no breaks. (Broke another on the other side)

Also got new bolts coming from vw dealer. Only £1.20 each for genuine vw ones.

Thanks again

Good to hear mate. At least the quality will be in no doubt.
