anyone ever took the cover off?

have coded bumper original in good condition but metal rotten as

anyone replaced theres?

I had it done by the local spray shop and they said that it was a nightmare to get off! I havnt tried it myself though :blush:

at the reverse of the bumper you will see lots of large plastic tabs. Lever them this way and that to free the first few tabs, you can lthen lever the whole skin having got a few out. It is a pain to do though. Also, i recommend performing the operation on a softer surface than the garage floor, don't want to scratch a good colour coded bumper.
