Mk1 Bumper Clip/Guide

Post by theboysmiffy »

Does anyone know how to remove the plastic guides that locate the sides of the rear bumper? I can see the nuts on the inside of the front wings so the front is not a problem but I can’t work out where they are located on the inside of the rear panel. I want to unbolt them rather than just hacking them off!! Cheers

Thanks for the pic. It is part 20,21 and 22 in the lower drawing, the problem is I don’t know how to access the nuts that hold the guide onto the rear quarter panel.

I do not know either.
Have you taken out the side panels in the trunk ?

I know on my mk1 I had to go in via the boot and remove the side cards to get access, if you put your hand down there you should feel the big plastic nut which hold the clip on.

Found them, located behind the carpet and card in the boot. Thanks again.
