shift light circuit testing

Post by type53b »

My shift light has gone kaput. I think this is down to the relay 171919091 in the fusebox. Is there a way to test this with a multimeter? Thanks.

remember, if it's got tit's or tyre's, sooner or later it's gonna give you trouble.

Take it out and apply a power and ground to the control side and check for continuity with a multimeter on the load side of the relay, you should also here it clicking when 12v is applied to the control side.
