Re: First things you would do after buying a Mk1

There are pattern parts like sills, rear arches, lower rear corners & lower rear valance (and earlier wings I think). No doors, bonnets, front panels, roof or tailgates AFAIK. But once you know what you might need, you can track most things down - you just need patience (and possibly luck! (and ...

Re: First things you would do after buying a Mk1

Basically if it has corrosion issues (however small) make sure you attend to them as soon as is practical - maybe run it this summer and sort it out in the...

Re: What wheels are these?

Look like Sebrings (15's) to me - they came on early Corrado's (possibly some golfs and passats too) http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q44/bstingroco/RADO.jpg http://www3.picturepush.com/photo/a/7702401/480/VW-Sebring/Volkswagen-Golf-MK2-Rallye-1989.jpg?v0 http://i361.photobucket.com/albums/oo57/he...

Re: Difference pb-DX engine

No worries. When I had a MK2 golf GTi for a short time with the PB engine it looked the same as the DX engine but with a different fuel system. Let us know what you find out. I had a PB in a mk2 Goof - I didn't find it as much fun as the earlier K-jet unit, but it may have just had a hard life (min...

Re: Project Rouge - 1985 GTL

I love the Ronals - but I'm not sure they're right for the GTL.
Then I saw the Toplines = WIN!

Love them.
