Re: Car Shipping companies
Yes, I did think about doing the car transporter. I've also thought about hiring a van, which my belongings can go into and then a trailer on the back possibly as well. Just a heads up. Check your driving licence to make sure you can tow. 94 95 the law changed with the licence and some things where...

Re: Abf kjet conversion not firing
Is the ecu wired up to the coil correctly ?
Done the same conversion 10+ years ago.
Think without looking 2 black wires to coil 1 green and 1 black to - on battery.
double check the wires on the dizzy loom can get abit loose. Where you based btw ?

Re: cost G60 vs 2.016v conversion
abf 150 ish bhp G60 160 ish bhp Both in standard specs from what i remember. G60 costs loads more in the long run but nice engine. A the howl of a charger is nice. Personally looked at both routes a few years back. Ended up with abf on k-jet which suits me to a tee and give the retro look for the ca...

Re: Mk2 abf conversion help
If using k-jet. Simply half the lower half of the air box.
If running the abf set up a cone filter kit is your friend. This will have a the right gubbins for the air sensor etc..

Re: Upgraded Throttle Body.
The number on the flaps (butterflies) is the bore of the throttle body.
I assume the numbers on this on are greater than the standard one on your DX ?
when you fit it to the inlet open up the butterflies and your see a ridge around the bore holes , as manifold is to small. This needs to be flied out.

Re: Upgraded Throttle Body.
Think i used an Audi 80 5 cylinder one many year's back. The inlet needs to be filed to suit throttle body. Some 16v throttle bodys do have the vacume pipe on the rear again there a audi item, early type 90s

Car Length
Anyone know the length of a mk1 with no bumpers on or with bumpers on ? Need to know for new storage space and don't have the time to drive 6 miles out of my way to measure up. Feet measurement would be great.
Thanks
