Anyone know if the bolts to fit an omp lower brace are longer than the standard ( original) ones fitted to our cars.

Stick the timing light on it and point at the crank pulley, having marked the notch to make it easier to see. Start engine with timing light on, and rev engine to make sure timing moves. To set timing, throw away timing light, then keep advancing it until it pinks under load, then back off slightly...

Am i right in thinking the yellow and black wire on back of heater switch is a switched live or am i totally wrong ?

Also anyone know what wire colors it is that plug up to the throttle position switch (big 3 pin plug inj model)

The gearbox on the monza is on it way out crunching in 2nd & 4th. I have a spare which is from a mk3 golf 2ltr 8 valve rod change. Has or is anyone using the same box on a kr or abf. If so what does it pull like ie does it scream it cogs off or seem well suited. Don't what to fit it if it's not ...
