Engine model and number should be on a flat surface between 3rd and 4th cilinder at the top of the block right under the head gasket.

Saying you got a 2.0 it will be a 9A I think

Check the one you have now for the partnumber. There should be a VW number as well as a Bosch one. This will help you determine the right one a lot easier. There are so many options as you already stated. You could go for a full electronich version which can be adjusted through a laptop or even thro...

If you look at the brand stamp in the corner of the window it will say TINTED if itsis and otherwise nothing.
