Well i'm still managing to move the GTX along slowly. Hugely satisfying seeing some of the parts coming together now. Need to find a safe place out of the way to start storing all of the assemblies.... spare bedroom at home seems like a good idea!! :-D Got a few more bits powdercoated and assembled ...

Thanks HubbaDubba... going to be a long process getting it to where i'd like it to be... but i'm confident i'll get there one day :-D Need to get the BC coilovers ordered at some point. Well, another week gone and i've made some more progress..... New hubs as one of the old ones was well past keeping, new bearings and bolts too ready for assembly into the powder coated carriers when i've done them. hubs.jpg Cylinder head has been mostly dismantled before it's refurb... You can still get subframes from most of the seat manufacturers i think. Sparco, Cobra, Corbeau etc. Then drop a sliding runner kit on top and drop their seats on top of that. Cobra Le man seats always look good in the retro VW's in my opinion! :)

Well, the first week has gone ok so far.
